Day Two at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2017 is reserved for Sustainable Fashion, and we are layering those ‘perfect comfiest clothings’ in Indian homegrown organic fabrics. Elevating the standards and escalating our expectations, here are a selected few highlights of the runway:

Print on Print

A great fusion of prints, with a contemporary style statement. It’s off-beat, stylish and it’s the next big thing. Get set to mix and match prints and create a riot of colours. (PS: We will soon post a blog on how to pair print on print)

Flamboyance with Fabrics

We loved the versatility of eco-conscious breathable handloom fabrics presenting a casual and flowy affair in the form of well-tailored anti-fits & asymmetrical apparels in rustic and sombre palettes. Also for the first time we witnessed, fabric weaves with stainless steel.

The Shoe talk continues…

Teaming oxfords with a saree. Pointy-toe boots & flat mules with relaxed asymmetrical ensembles. Metallic mules with rustic hues. These guys are giving us some major fashion goals.
