Monsoon Concoctions
Rains are fun, especially after a scorching summer. Let’s get ready to welcome the splash of monsoon. Even for those who don’t like rains much, there is no way but to accept it, so why not do it with grace. It’s time to have a wardrobe check to ace your style and prep it up for those drizzles.
Quirky Umbrellas & Coats
Flaunt your urbanity with a variety of waterproof coats (raincoat or trench coat with a belt) and sturdy umbrellas. You just can’t deny that you will need an umbrella in these naughty rains since you’ll be using it more often than you really want to. Thankfully with ever emerging trends over the years, boring umbrellas have transformed into classy ones. Opt for a funky printed colourful umbrella or a transparent one to restrain the dullness of the weather.
Elegant trench coats can make most outfits rain-ready, and being higher in their style quotient and fitting, they make a perfect match for the modern working woman. Trench Coats are just for you!
Footwear
Footwear is an essential part of your look. Instead of closed pumps, try to wear flip flops or strappy floaters / sandals as they let the skin breathe. Grab bright and vibrant, colourful pairs of flip flops and combat rain. However, it may spoil your dress and feet by splashing mud and dirt.
High heel boots must to be substituted with flat boots. Heels are not a good choice for the rainy-season. Ballet flats / jelly shoes are an all-time favourite. Go for slip-resistant sandals and shoes. Crocs are also in vogue.
You may also opt for Rain boots / gumboots which will not only be your saviour from those oversized puddles but are also bound to turn more than a few heads while keeping your toes toasty and dry.
Water proof makeups
Normal makeup gets messy and washed out both in the humidity or the downpour. Still you can look your best by keeping your make-up to the minimum and focusing on waterproof makeup. Monsoon is the time for experimenting with colours so why not give your face a fresh pop with some vibrant hues.
Clothing
Go for light fabrics on days you could get drenched. Just imagine wearing a pair of heavy denims and spending hours trying to dry it and catching a cold instead. So go for something lighter and airy: Nylons, mixed fabrics, blended cottons, poly fabrics and nets are the fabrics for monsoon. Brighter prints would be another option for a cloudy day to keep the gloominess of the weather at bay. It’s wise to avoid clothes with thin fabrics if you don’t want a peekaboo situation in case you get wet.
It’s time to get all those shorts and skirts out of your wardrobe. While it’s comfortable at one hand, you’d not worry on the tan of summer anymore. Usher in a sense of carefree ease in the form of Shorts, Culottes, Knee length skirts, playsuits/rompers, Midis, Capris and basically anything that is not kissing the ground, to avoid getting muddy hems. Keep away from Salwar & Patiala; you can rather wear Kurtis with Leggings or a Churidar. And if you are the one who just can’t do without layering, opt for a quick dry shrug paired with a plain shorts and tank.
Apart from the above mentioned basics you can also use bright coloured plastic totes and sling bags which are usually waterproof. Add to it your compulsive basics and a napkin to get rid of the water on your hands and face, and a hair-tie or a scarf to keep hair from turning all frizzy. As the monsoon is no more about being neutral, the choices are endless so just move on and display your free spirit!

I liked the vocabulary used in each category, might be bcoz I read the entire thing :p Also you can do the branding of the waterproof product for for(makeup stuff) which you’re aware about. Secondly, The website created is arranged well and see to it that the page doesn’t repeat ( as oat shake) in each category when it opens. Keep it up 🙂
